Training to become a world-class athlete takes many hours a day. Young athletes who plan to compete at this level experience demanding training and travelings schedules. Due to the amount of time spent training and traveling, traditional schooling often doesn’t work. Many tennis players such as Venus, Serena, and Maria Sharapova were homeschooled so that they could practice their craft more often and take more control of their time. Homeschooling allows our players to have control and command of the necessary time needed to focus on training both on and off court. It’s been our experience that this avenue usually nurtures more disciplined and time conscious players. For athletes who are homeschooled, we offer them the ability to customize their own training schedule upon request. This option is only for groups of 6 homeschoolers or more.
Our curriculum features up to seven hours of intense daily training over a course of fourteen weeks (14) and two technique analysis field trips. It’s a rich educational experience as well as a lot of safe fun for our juniors. Some of the activities include: week-long interaction at the GHI Classic at Crotona Park and the US Open qualifying rounds at the National Tennis Center.
Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 1:00 pm. Plus Saturday or Sunday 6:00 am – 9:00 am.
Pre-Commitment Mini Training Camps
Pre-commitment training camp is a short term commitment where athletes and parents can determine if they’re capable of giving it all they’ve got and if all they’ve got is enough to take them to the next level. This 6-week program will consist of rigorous and precise training and will provide a true taste of the work that is required to be a world class athlete. After completing the pre-commitment training program, you’ll be able to decide if enrolling in a full-time Centre Court Logistics program is right for you.
